On 23 February, 2008, Lee Kum Kee (China) Trading Limited held a customer gala dinner and product launch ceremony at Sheraton Hotel in Shanghai Pudong. Over 450 participants, including Lee Kum Kee Board of Directors, Hong Kong and China management teams and distributors gathered together that night.
The meaningful theme of the dinner "A Century's Leadership & Heritage" not only shows the leadership of Lee Kum Kee in oyster sauce with a history of 120 years, but also indicates the launch of new product "Seasoned Soy Sauce" 天成一味, which means Lee Kum Kee had made a breakthrough in seasoned soy sauce market.
During the banquet, Lee Kum Kee (China) Trading Limited President Daniel Saw made a review on the company's success in 2007, and shared the company's major strategies in the mainland market in 2008, reaffirming the company's two major missions: "becoming No. 1 in China and No. 1 in Oyster Sauce", which helps boost the morale of both Lee Kum Kee staffs and the distributors.
Lee Kum Kee Group Chairman Lee Man Tat was invited to give a crucial touch on the Chinese calligraphy, announcing the launch of the company's brand-new product "Seasoned Soy Sauce" 天成一味 during the banquet. This is the major product to spearhead the company's thrust into the sauce market, as well as the first core product for this year. Distributors, who were eager to taste this new product, all said that the sauce is amazing, showing their affirmation, trust and support towards the company.
